The gym at Club MMGR, the sports and leisure club located on the Mar Menor Golf Resort, is one of the top sporting gyms in the Region of Murcia – a great place for a workout any day of the week!Coaching lessons are available at the gym, with sessions focused on functional training run by the two experienced in-house coaches, Salva and Miguel.
Salva is an ex-professional football player and CrossFit athlete who has years of experience in coaching athletes at different levels. He is very passionate about helping people achieve their fitness goals and has designed the coaching lessons to be challenging and effective.CrossFit is a strength and conditioning workout for high-intensity training, and includes a series of demanding squatting, pulling and pushing exercises to strengthen core muscles for everyday use.
Miguel is a physiotherapist specialised in sports who has worked with athletes from various sporting disciplines, including football, basketball, and tennis. He brings a unique perspective to the coaching lessons, helping members to improve their strength, flexibility, and mobility while minimising the risk of injury.
Both Salva and Miguel are qualified professionals who can conduct their coaching sessions in Spanish or in English, as you prefer.
Times for coaching lessons at Club MMGR
- Monday to Friday: 9:30-10:30 am, 10:30-11:30 am; 6:30-7:30 pm; 7:30-8:30 pm.
- Saturday: 9:30 am.
The classes are suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced, and the coaches are very supportive and encouraging.

The Club MMGR sports and lesiure facility is located on the Mar Menor Golf Resort in the Region of Murcia.
Founded in 2008, the Club is one of the foremost centres for sports excellence in the south of Spain, and has lots to offer golfing, padel and football enthusiasts.They regularly have coaching sessions and great events for young and old alike in both English and Spanish at their football pitches, gym, swimming pool, 9-hole minigolf course and padel facilities, with world-class professional sportspeople coming to coach at the club.
There is also a café, bar and restaurant area where they host activities like dancing, concerts and fun themed nights, and they can help you to book to stay at the Mar Menor Golf Resort hotel or to take kayak, canoe, jet ski and water sports day trips out in the local area.Club MMGR opening times
