Los Alcázares is among the most popular holiday spots to visit in the Region of Murcia, located as it is right on the shore of the picturesque Mar Menor lagoon with its spectacular beaches, and very close to Mar Menor Golf Resort.

Now, anyone thinking of visiting the town can take a free virtual trip to find out about it first.

The Department of Tourism of Los Alcázares Council has created a 360º virtual tour to allow people to get to know places of interest in the town.

Councillor for Tourism, María José Díaz Aragón, said, “This is one more tool to promote tourism in the area, offering visitors in an entertaining way all the information about what they should visit during their stay in Los Alcázares.”

The Murcia municipality of Los Alcázares has spent years using to new technologies in order to offer a tourist destination that is modern and accessible to everyone.

“Technology is our greatest ally and now it allows us, through the Turismo Los Alcázares website, to take a virtual tour of the La Encarnación Spa, the Torre del Rame, the Mining Train, the Monument to the Fisherman and the Balsas de Los Diegos, among other places,” said Díaz Aragón.

The 360º Virtual Tour of Los Alcázares already includes more than 10 important places in the municipality, and more are being added to this open project all the time.
