June 28 PAPS fundraiser featuring Aaron Lanney in Los Alcázares

An evening of music and meaningful fundraising is coming to Los Alcázares on Saturday June 28 as the always popular Play Bar hosts a special Dance Party Fundraiser in support of PAPS Dogs Rescue Shelter.

Kicking off at 8pm, the night features a fun disco dance class led by the energetic Lotta Lotusflower, followed by a live performance from local favourite Aaron Lanney.

Guests can enjoy an evening of dancing, great music and community spirit, all while raising vital funds for the shelter’s ongoing work with rescue dogs.

Tickets are priced at just €15 and must be purchased in advance. Spaces are limited and tickets are non-refundable, so early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.

There will also be a raffle with fantastic prizes, giving attendees another great way to support the cause.

Location: Play Bar, Avenida de la Libertad 301, 30710 Los Alcázares, Murcia.

PAPS dog rescue and charity in Murcia, Spain

The Protectora Animales Perros del Sol (PAPS) is a rescue shelter and foundation to support abandoned dogs in the Costa Cálida area of southern Spain.

Based in El Mirador near San Javier, PAPS provides a safe and caring environment for abandoned or unwanted dogs whilst endeavouring to find them loving, permanent homes.

Established in 2010, over the years PAPS have helped thousands of dogs get the decent quality of life they deserve, largely thanks to the continued generosity of volunteers and supporters who lend their time and money to this worthy cause.

PAPS doesn't receive any funding from the local council and so rely on donations from the public to keep going. If you are able to make a monetary donation, any amount – large or small – is appreciated. With registered charity fiscal number G54504907, you can be sure that your money is going to a legitimate good cause.

As it is a Spanish account in euros, any payment made in GBP from the UK should be made by PayPal (select the option friends and family) to the email address animalesperrosdelsol@hotmail.com.

If you can't afford to make a monetary donation but still want to help, you can feel free to contact them about the possibility of dropping off dog food or doggy treats, or to volunteer your time walking and looking after the dogs.

Better yet, if you want to make a dog's life better permanently, you can adopt one of the pups at PAPS and give it the home it deserves!
