Christmas shopping fair and lots of free carol concerts in Totana this pre-Christmas weekend

20th to 22nd December; VIII Feria de Navidad y el regalo in the Avenida de Lorca.

A pre-Christmas shopping event with an ample programme of parallel family activities in the Christmas run-up. The fair will be opened officially on Friday evening at 17:30, with free Christmas sweet treats on offer courtesy of the traders. Open on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 onwards.

Saturday 21st December

17:30. Father Christmas visits Totana, with music, entertainment and dance display by the paso a paso and Mari Loli dance schools: Avenida de Lorca.

This is followed at 17:30 by workshops for the kiddies in the same area.

18:00. Christmas carols mass sung by the choir Coral Santiago in the Ermita de san Roque church.Click for map

20:00. Christmas carols concert in the church Iglesia de las Lomas in El Paretón.

20:30 Christmas carols snd popular festive songs concert. This is a fundraiser for the cáritas organisation in the Convento Las Tres Avemarias and features traditional folk music  from the Grupo San Buenaventura and the Cuadrilla Los Gauchos. Click for map

Sunday 22nd December

12:30. Christmas concert by the musical band of the Agrupación Musical de Totana in the Plaza de la Balsa Vieja. Click for map

19:30. XI Festival Coral Navideño Ciudad de Totana; the annual choirs Christmas festival. Taking place in the Convento de las Tres Avemarias this features the choir Coral Vox Musicalis from Totana, the choir Coral Kodaly from Molina de Segura and the choir Cámara Iuvenis Música from Cartagena.Click for map

20:00. Christmas concert in the church Iglesia de Santiago el Mayor by the children's choir of the Colegio Santiago. Click for map
