The celebrations include a Romería and are held in honour of the Virgen del Rosario

The village of Ramonete, on the boundary between the municipalities of Mazarrón and Lorca, is holding its annual fiestas in honour of the Virgen del Rosario until October 8, with the programme of events including the following:

Thursday October 5

21.30: Migas competition.

22.30: Copla music with Marisol Segura.

23.30: Charity bingo and music.

Friday October 6

22.00: Performance by the Antonio Jara dance academy.

23.00: Live music from Puerto Canalla.

1.00: DJ music brought to you by Pablo García.

Saturday October 7

18.30: Holy Mass and a floral offering.

19.00: A snack for all those present.

19.30: Happy hour for children!

22.00: The election of local and visiting Miss and Mr Ramonete.

22.30: Live music from Aire Flamenco.

1.00: DJ Lara Ross.

Sunday October 8

8.00: The 30^th annual Romería sets out on its traditional route, plenty of beer and music along the way!

13.30: Holy Mass in honour of the Virgen del Rosario with singing by “troveros” (troubadours).

14.00: Paella for all!

15.00: The Fiesta Rociera begins with music from Callejón del Sastre.

21.00: The party goes on into the night with the final firecrackers ending the fiestas.
