Spectacular racing at the Las Salinas circuit in Alhama contributes to research into rare diseases
The annual motocross championship in Alhama de Murcia has become a well-established event in the municipality, and is this year being held on Sunday 20th October as part of the events within the programme of the Feria which concluded the previous week.
Racing begins at 10.00 and includes categories for MX1 and MX2. All of the admission fee is donated to the D'Genes, a Totana based charity which helps those with rare diseases.
The racing takes place at the Circuito de Las Salinas (in the industrial estate next to the RM-2 just outside Alhama de Murcia on the road towards Fuente Álamo), and will last until approximately 13.00.
The salinas industrial estate is well signposted and can now be accessed easily from the RM-2.
