Lorca sets hearts fluttering with massive Valentines Day give-away
Participating businesses in Lorca will offer customers the chance to win prizes worth 500 euros

The deputy mayor of Lorca and Councillor for Commerce, Francisco Morales, has presented a new campaign for Valentine's Day 2023 that aims to greatly boost local businesses while getting residents well and truly in the mood for love.
“Valentine's Day is approaching and the best way to celebrate it is by buying what we will give to the people we love in the local business. We will reward the confidence in the Lorca business with the raffle of dozens of items and services from businesses participating in this campaign”.
A total of 53 businesses have signed up and the activity has created a huge buzz on social media. The city is adorned with the brightly coloured, festive posters and customers will have the chance to nab tickets for spot prizes, raffles and the chance to win two scrolls worth 500 euros each.
Each business taking part in the Valentine’s Day 2023 campaign will donate an item or service which will be divided among the two grand prizes and raffled off on February 17 in Plaza de Calderón. All of the stores now have ballot boxes on their premises for customers to drop off their entries.
“Starting tomorrow (February 3) and until February 14, both included, simply by making your purchases, you will be able to participate in the draw for the scrolls that have been created for the occasion,” the councillor explained.
“To do this, you have to deposit the purchase receipt in the ballot boxes available in the business itself, where you only have to specify the customer's name and telephone number.”
Participating businesses will all have the Valentine’s Day 2023 poster displayed outside.
On this festive occasion, the deputy mayor has asked the people of Lorca to show the love by shopping locally and supporting the city’s commercial ventures. The campaign, he added, is designed “to reward the loyalty of the customers and also continue to fill our wonderful streets with life”.
