Get a rebate on your road tax for the next 3 years if you have a hybrid car in Aguilas
Hybrid vehicles will benefit from a 60% rebate on road tax in the year of their registration and for the following three years
From next year, hybrid motor vehicles – those that combine a combustion engine with an electric motor to minimise polluting emissions – will be able to benefit from a 60% tax rebate in the year of registration and the following three years, in the municipality of Águilas.
To apply for this tax rebate scheme, owners of hybrid cars resident in Águilas must provide a photocopy of the vehicle registration certificate; a copy of the card of the Technical Inspection of the Vehicle (ITV); documentation proving that the vehicle engine has the required characteristics, unless it appears on the ITV card; and an affidavit proving they are up to date with payment of all their tax obligations.
The deadline to present applications in the case of vehicles of first registration will be during the whole tax period, and for vehicles already registered it will be the first quarter of each year.
