A host of activities and events for all ages over the festive period in Los Alcázares

Don't miss the free guided tours over the holiday season!

As the town of Los Alcázares grows in size and population so too do the range and importance of the events staged by the Town Hall over the festive period, and in 2025-26, as well as the Christmas lights, the New Year's party in the marquee outside the Town Hall and the Three Kings parade on 5th January, the schedule also includes various free guided tours, (on foot, by bicycle and even on the water of the Mar Menor), the now traditional Santa motorbike parade, the Navidadlandia experience (complete with ice skating!) and a huge variety of events designed to appeal to both young and old!

So stock up the fridge (or start booking in the local restaurants), prepare for a month of celebration and browse through the programme to decide how you'll be joining in the fun!

 

Saturday December 6

10.00: Free boat trip on the Mar Menor, leaving from the La Pescadería jetty. Registration opens here on 2^nd December. Click here for further details.

Friday December 12

20.00: Flue recital in the Town Hall to raise funds for the cause of Palestine.

Saturday December 13

11.30 to 13.30: Father Christmas at a workshop in the Plaza Virgen del Carmen as the Fiestas committee of Lomas del Rame’ offers meatballs in broth to raise funds for their activities.

16.30: The 4th annual “PAPANOELADA MOTERA” charity event, involving a host of Santas on motorbikes giving away toys. Their route begins in the Plaza Manuel Floreal Menárguez, where they meet at 16.30 before setting out half an hour later.

Route: From Los Alcázares to Los Narejos and Lomas del Rame before returning to the Town Hall.

10.00: Free cycling tour of the urban art of Los Alcázares, starting at the tourist office. Registration opens here on 9^th December. Click here for further details.

Sunday December 14

19.00: Christmas charity concert by Sonrisas Harmony to raise funds for the AFACMUR charity, which helps the families of children with cancer in the Region of Murcia. Venue: Town Hall, tickets on priced at 6 euros.

December 18 to January 6

The Christmas market returns to Los Alcázares, opening from 10.00 to 14.00 and 16.00 to midnight.

Friday December 19

17.00 to 19.00: Father Christmas at a workshop in the Plaza Manuel Floreal Menárguez.

Saturday December 20

10.00 to 12.00: Two sessions of paddle board yoga at the jetty of La Pescadería. Registration opens here on 16^th December.

12.00: Free tourist train ride to the parks and gardens of Los Alcázares, starting outside the Town Hall. Registration opens here on 16^th December.

17.00: Eco-Cultural Children’s Christmas in the Plaza Manuel Floreal Menárguez.

17.00 to 19.00: Father Christmas children’s workshop in the Plaza Miguel de Cervantes (Los Narejos).

17.00 to 19.00: Christmas chess tournament in Plaza Manuel Floreal Menárguez.

20.00: Christmas carol concert by the Nuestra Señora Virgen de la Asunción choir, the Rondalla Son del Mar Menor, the parish choir, the Sonrisas Harmony Chorus choir and the children’s choir at the church of La Caridad. Tickets 5 euros (all funds donated to the charity Cáritas).

21.30: The presentation and blessing of the municipal nativity scene with music from the Rondalla Son del Mar Menor on the seafront Paseo Real de la Feria.

Sunday December 21

11.30 to 13.30: Father Christmas children’s workshop in the Plaza Virgen del Carmen.

12.00: Children’s theatre with the PupaClown company in the Town Hall. Admission free of charge.

Navidadlandia in Los Alcázares (in the car park at the junction fo Avenida de la Libertad and Avenida 13 de octubre) , featuring ice skating, a food truck and bouncy castles. Opening hours as follows:

12.00: New Year’s Eve party for children in the Plaza Manuel Floreal Menárguez!

23.30: The “real” New Year’s party for adults begins in the municipal marquee in Plaza Manuel Floreal Menárguez with the handing out of grapes for when the clock strikes 12.

The chimes are followed by music from F&V BAND.

January 2 to 4

The Royal Postman collects letters to deliver to the Three Kings, accompanied by workshop activities for children.

Friday January 2

17.00 to 19.00: The postman arrives at the Plaza de la Virgen del Carmen in Las Lomas del Rame.

Saturday January 3

12.30: Festive cookery workshop in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. Registration opens here on 30^th December.

Monday January 5

11.00 to 12.00: A Three Kings Parade begins at the roundabout outside the “Las Velas” mall, running to Hotel Pagán, where Three Kings letters can be delivered.

17.00: THE GRAND THREE KINGS PARADE! Route: Carril de las Palmeras, Avenida Libertad, to the Town Hall. At the end of the parade presents Will be given out.

(Please note: those wishing to leave presents for the Kings to deliver should be handed in to the Town Hall on 5^th January between 10.00 and 13.00!)
