Cloudy but warming up: Murcia weather forecast September 25-28

The storm forecast to hit parts of Spain at the weekend should miss the Region of Murcia

Average temperatures expected on Saturday

Hurricane Gabrielle, currently sitting way out in the Atlantic, is expected to begin heading towards Spain in the next couple of days, hitting the mainland in the form of a storm sometime on Sunday September 28.

The path of the hurricane is still very uncertain but it looks as though the worst of the weather should avoid the Region of Murcia. Instead, the Region can look forward to calm, settled weather and slightly warmer days.

Thursday September 25

After a clear enough start, the skies will become increasingly cloudy during the afternoon. Temperatures will remain unchanged for the time being but a moderate breeze will create a little wind chill in coastal areas.

Friday September 26

It will be a bit brighter on Friday with slightly less cloud cover. While night-time temperatures will remain the same as the day before, the day will be noticeably warmer, particularly inland.

Saturday September 27

Daytime temperatures will continue to inch up across the Region of Murcia on Saturday, but it will be rather cloudy overall.

Sunday September 28

Sunday will again be pleasant with plenty of high cloud cover. Night-time temperatures will increase with few changes expected to daytime temperatures.

Friday September 26: Min 9ºC; Max 31ºC
Saturday September 27: Min 10ºC; Max 32ºC
Sunday September 28: Min 14ºC; Max 32ºC
