A new event will take place in Águilas for the first time in 2020, falling under the umbrella of carnival activities; the Partepechos Race Carnavales de Aguilas carrera de obstáculos.

This type of race is also known as a “Mud Run” with participants expecting to get soaking wet, covered in mud and to face all manner of crazy obstacles.

The race is 5.000 metres long for adults, and between 1.000 and 3.000 metros for children.

Registration is cheaper the earlier the registration and starts at 23 euros for adults between the 15th January and 14th February, rising to 33 euros for those registering at the last minute.
