Windy, damp and cold: Spain weather forecast November 24-27
Temperatures will gradually rise in the south of Spain this week but widespread weather alerts are in place

Weather warnings on Monday November 24
A succession of weather fronts will sweep across Spain this week, resulting in mostly cloud and overcast skies and falling temperatures pretty much across the board. The mercury should increase ever so slightly along the Mediterranean coast but strong winds and treacherous sea conditions are also forecast.
Monday November 24

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) ha activated several weather alerts on Monday for heavy downpours, gale-force winds and dangerous sea conditions. The entire country can expect mostly overcast or very cloudy skies and the rain that begin in northern Spain early on Monday morning will spread further south as showers later in the day.
Daytime temperatures will inch up along the Mediterranean coast with few changes forecast elsewhere.
Yellow alerts for strong winds/dangerous sea conditions: Andalucia, Aragon, Asturias, Balearic Islands, Cantabria, Castilla y Leon, Castilla-La Mancha, Galicia, Region of Murcia, Navarra, Basque Country, La Rioja, Valencian Community.
Tuesday November 25

Monday’s front will continue to hang around, resulting in more cloudy skies across much of Spain and the Balearic Islands. This should clear a little by mid-afternoon, although there’s still a chance of late showers in the extreme south.
Maximum temperatures should rise in the southern half of the country, hitting 20ºC or 21ºC in Alicante and Murcia.
Yellow alerts for strong winds/dangerous sea conditions: Andalucia, Aragon, Balearic Islands, Cantabria, Castilla-La Mancha, Catalonia, Galicia, Navarra, Basque Country, Valencia.
Wednesday November 26

The gradual arrival of high pressure from the west will bring stable weather to most of Spain on Wednesday. The exception will be the Balearic Islands, where very cloudy skies and persistent rain are forecast.
Temperatures will decrease across the board, except for parts of the southwest, where the mercury will remain mostly unchanged or even rise slightly.
Orange alerts for strong winds/dangerous sea conditions: Balearic Islands, Catalonia.
Yellow alerts for strong winds/dangerous sea conditions: Aragon, Valencian Community.
Thursday November 27

Settled weather is expected across Spain on Thursday, with high pressure bringing cloudy periods to the northern half, clearing to partly cloudy or sunny skies by the end of the day.
Daytime temperatures will fall along the Mediterranean coast, while elsewhere a moderate rise is expected in inland mountain ranges.
