For the next two months, market stallholders will be handing out raffle tickets for a series of great prizes

The street markets in Cartagena are launching a joint initiative to reward customers with a series of prizes by giving away raffle tickets with any purchase over 10 euros.

The prizes range from tickets for the Mar de Músicas concerts and tickets to attend musicals to a meal for two in various different restaurants around the city, as well as many other prizes.

Beginning on Thursday March 9 and running until Sunday May 7, street vendors at any of Cartagena’s street markets will give out raffle tickets to anyone who spends more than 10 euros, to enter into the prize draw. If you spend 20 euros at one stall, for example, you can get two tickets, and so on.

Then all you have to do is fill out this raffle ticket with your name, surname, ID number and phone number, then place it in one of the boxes located in the street markets of Ribera de San Javier and Cabo de Palos from 9am to 1pm. There will also be boxes placed in the Administrative building in Calle San Miguel, the OMITAS, the Citizen’s Advice Office of the Security Park, and the office of El Regidor, located in Paseo Alfonso XIII.

The draw will take place publicly on Monday May 15, 2023 and the winning numbers will be made published on the Cartagena Council website.

The initiative is part of a push to encourage people to buy locally at the city’s street markets, and initially there will be around 60,000 numbered raffle tickets available.

Los Dolores
Urbanización Mediterráneo
Pozo Estrecho
Llano del Beal
El Algar
Los Urrutias
Cabo de Palos
Barriada de San Cristóbal

2 individual season tickets for the 2023-2024 season of FC Cartagena
2 individual season tickets for the 2023-2024 season of Jimbee Cartagena (Futsal Avenida del Cantón S/N, Palacio de Los Deportes de Cartagena)
2 individual season tickets for shows of La Mar de Músicas 2023
2 tickets for the Musical of Peter Pan (May 28) in the auditorium El Batel
2 tickets for the concert of the Orquesta Sinfónica de La Región De Murcia, in the auditorium El Batel (June 4, 2023)
2 tickets for “Los Veranos del Batel” (August 2023) at the El Batel Auditorium (subject to availability)
