The Ayuntamiento de Lorca has informed that, due to the intervention of the Mancomunidad de los Canales del Taibilla in the execution of the works for the connection of the initial section of the new pipeline to Calasparra this Tuesday June 27, the drinking water supply network may be affected in some outlying districts of the municipality and there may be cuts to the flow of tap water.

 

Specifically, from 12 midday on Tuesday until 12 midday on Wednesday June 28, the following areas will be affected:

 

 

The full restoration of the service, until the supply of drinking water is back to normal in terms of flow and pressure, will be progressive and could take longer than 24 hours due to the necessary recharging of the affected networks and tanks after the intervention to be carried out by the Mancomunidad.
