Andalucía weekly weather forecast Sept 29-Oct 2: Sunshine returning after an unsettled start
Showery spells to begin the week before a return to more settled, sunnier conditions across the region

Monday September 29

Expect a rather grey day with widespread cloud and showers across the region. These will be more intense over the eastern mountain ranges during the afternoon, where thunder and heavier bursts are a good possibility. While minimum temperatures are holding steady, daytime highs are starting to split, with cooler readings in the east but warmer in the west. In Seville, the mercury should reach only around 20 degrees, while Granada and nearby areas will see the wettest spells. Westerly winds will be breezy along the Mediterranean coast and the Strait in the morning, before easing later on.
Tuesday September 30

The forecast turns a little calmer, with a mix of clouds and bright spells. There is still the chance of the odd shower in parts of the Baetic mountains, though most places will stay dry. Any rainfall will be lighter and less frequent than at the start of the week. Coastal areas, including Malaga, can expect pleasant mid-20s temperatures, while inland around Huelva conditions will also feel warmer. Winds remain on the light side, variable across the region but tending from the east around Almeria and the Strait.
Wednesday October 1

Sunnier conditions arrive for many places. Skies will be clearer across most of Andalucía, although some patchy cloud will bubble up again over the mountains and may bring a light shower around Jaen. Minimum temperatures pick up slightly, rising a couple of degrees, and maximums continue to rise away from the Mediterranean. Expect Cordoba to enjoy a pleasantly warm day, with light to moderate easterly winds, occasionally a little stronger near coastal spots such as Tarifa.
Thursday October 2

The week rounds off on a more settled note with sunshine dominating once again. Some patchy cloud could still linger along the Mediterranean, where there is a small chance of a light, scattered shower, but elsewhere skies remain largely blue. Temperatures continue to lift, especially inland, with highs nudging into the low 30s in Cadiz. Easterly winds remain the theme, light to moderate in strength, with a bit more punch along the eastern coast and through the Strait.
All in all, after a damp and unsettled start, plenty of sunshine is due to return through midweek and beyond, making the beginning of October feel much more like Andalucía again.
