Registration opens on February 4 for activities beginning in March

Spring activities at the Women's Institute of Águilas The Town Hall of Águilas has announced the wide range of workshops and activities which are being held at the local “Centro de la Mujer” in early 2026, with registration open between 4^th and 13^th February at the Centre itself (Calle Inmaculada, 25, telephone 968 446633) or online here.

All the activities will run from March to June, with the following options available:

Laughter Therapy (Monday 10.30 to 12.00).

Ceramics I (Monday 16.00 to 18.00).

Ceramics II (May and June, Monday 18.30 to 20.30).

Awareness and Mental Strength (Friday 10.00 to 11.30).

Movement and Wellbeing (Monday 17.00 to 18.30).

Creative Writing (Thursday 10.00 to 11.30).

Reading club (once a month).

Physical Activity (group I Monday 11.00 to 12.00, group 2 Thursday 11.00 to 12.00).

Esparto Grass Weaving for beginners (Monday 12.00 to 14.00).

Esparto Grass Weaving (advanced) (Tuesday 11.00 to 13.00).

The “Águilas Mujer y Salud” project (Tuesday 18.00 to 19.30).

Dance (Tuesday 18.00 to 19.00).

Therapeutic Yoga (Thursday 11.00 to 12.30).

Aguilas Tourist Office Águilas boasts 28 kilometres of coastline, with many fine, sandy beaches, sheltered coves and unspoilt natural beaches. It is a great summer favourite with Spanish holidaymakers, so always has a superb programme of concerts and activities throughout the summer, as well as the biggest carnival in the Region of Murcia, 40 days before Semana Santa (Easter.)

Throughout the year it also has a number of museums and historical attractions, a castle with fabulous views overlooking the bay and several other points of interest, all of which make it an good place to visit for days out. Throughout the year the tourist office runs monthly guided tours and the route of the railways, which explores the railway history of the town.

The tourist information office is located in the Plaza de Antonio Cortijos, just a short walk from the sea front and Plaza de España, a cool, shaded space in which to enjoy a coffee.
