Sept 29-Oct 2 Torrevieja takes centre stage at Alicante Gastronomica

Alicante will host the fifth edition of its famous gastronomic festival next weekend and artisans from Torrevieja will take centre stage, highlighting the unique food and beverages of the city with a special focus on salt, fish and wines.

Alicante Gastronomica will be held from September 29 to October 2 at Fira Alacant (IFA).

This year, Torrevieja’s gastronomic stall will once again take pride of place, offering visitors an opportunity to taste a variety of tapas including a sampling of the region’s renowned salted tuna fillets at noon on Saturday the 30th.

Organisers expect more than 65,000 visitors to flock to Alicante for the festival, which will play host to 250 renowned exhibitors, 100 winners of Michelin stars and Repsol Suns and 180 gastronomic presentations and workshops.
