Muddy rain and thunderstorms: Alicante weather forecast April 10-13
Widespread rain will impact all of Alicante province by Palm Sunday, April 13

Weather outlook in Alicante on Sunday April 13
After wreaking havoc on the Canary Islands for the last couple of days, Storm Olivier is rapidly approaching mainland Spain with the promise of a thundery, wet Easter week. The showers will start in Alicante from Friday April 11, developing into widespread downpours and stormy intervals that will spread to the entire province by Sunday April 13.
According to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), Olivier is also likely to carry lots of suspended dust, which will result in muddy showers over the weekend.
Thursday April 10

A mixture of clouds and sunny spells is forecast on Thursday with any light rain confined to the north of the province for now. Daytime temperatures will begin to decline and quite breezy easterly winds will be felt in coastal areas.
Friday April 11

There’s a chance of showers in the north again on Friday and overall the day will be much darker. Daytime temperatures will continue to fall and the easterly winds will prevail along the coast and inland.
Saturday April 12

Every corner of Alicante province can expect rain or showers on Saturday, although the mercury should inch up by a couple of degrees in most parts. The day will be cloudy throughout with the occasional bright spell.
Sunday April 13

Palm Sunday will be very dull and dreary with a change of widespread showers from midday. Daytime temperatures will fall once more along the coast with no changes expected inland. The winds will be light in general but there could be some gusty intervals in the middle of the day.
Minimum and maximum temperatures in Alicante this weekend
- Thursday April 10: Min 10ºC; Max 23ºC
- Friday April 11: Min 11ºC; Max 23ºC
- Saturday April 12: Min 10ºC; Max 23ºC
- Sunday April 13: Min 12ºC; Max 27ºC
