Mild autumn brings rising temperatures: Alicante weekend weather forecast September 25-28

Warm weekend ahead of rain predicted for Monday

Sunshine, scattered clouds and little or no rain continues to be the predominant state of the skies over Alicante province for the next few days, according to state meteorological agency Aemet.

It is likely to get a bit warmer over the weekend though, with minimums and maximums increasing closer to 20ºC and 30ºC respectively.

However, the chance of rain increases considerably on Monday.

Thursday, September 25

The skies should start to clear in most areas after 4pm

Cloudy intervals with a low probability of some light rainfall in the northern half of Alicante province during the second half of the day, when the skies will otherwise be mostly clear.

Minimum temperatures remain unchanged other than localised drops in the interior of the province; while maximums rise slightly in the northern half and remain unchanged across the rest.

Light, variable winds at the beginning and end of the day, which will tend to be more easterly during the afternoon.

Some cloudy intervals around the middle of the day

Just a few clouds or clear skies with cloudy intervals along the coast during the night, where scattered showers cannot be ruled out.

Slight changes to minimum temperatures and maximums on the rise.

Light, variable winds at the beginning and end of the day, which during the middle part of the day will tend to be more westerly inland and from the south on the coast.

Maximum temperatures on the rise again this Saturday

Just a few clouds in the morning, followed by high-altitude clouds in the afternoon and evening.

Temperatures rising again, particularly maximums across the province in general.

Light southerly breezes throughout the day, which may be more moderate further north, where they will become predominantly westerly in the evening, while dying out elsewhere.

Sunday, September 28

The skies will get cloudier as the afternoon goes on

High clouds overnight, giving way along the coast to just a few clouds in the morning, followed by cloudy intervals across the province in the afternoon, becoming very cloudy later on, especially inland.

Minimum temperatures look set to rise while maximums should remain unchanged.

Predominantly southerly light winds in the morning, switching in the afternoon to easterly in the south and more variable in the northern half.
