March 8 to 18 Cured fish and cocktails tapas route in Aguilas
18 Salazón tapas at bars and restaurants in and around Águilas
A new gastronomic event is being held in Águilas between 8th and 18th March in the form of a tapas route featuring salted fish tapas alongside cocktails in local bars and restaurants.
A total of 18 tapas are being offered along with 5 cocktails, the choices ranging from traditional favourites to more innovative culinary creations.
Alongside this initiative, local hostelries association Hosteáguilas is organizing guided visits and tastings in which participants can learn about various of the products falling within this category and about the ancient salted fish production facility created by the Romans on the Isla del Fraile.
