Heavy congestion reported on roads in and out of Murcia capital
A lorry accident and rainy conditions have led to significant traffic delays on the A-30 and A-7 motorways heading towards Murcia. The accident occurred at kilometre 566 on the A-7 near Nueva Condomina, causing traffic to halt. Emergency services responded to assist the injured driver, and Guardia Civil officers diverted traffic, leading to further disruption.
The rains, which began early in the morning, have prompted driver caution, adding to the congestion. Hundreds of vehicles have been caught in long queues both entering and leaving Murcia, particularly near Espinardo and UCAM University. The Directorate General of Traffic (DGT) has issued warnings for these areas, advising caution due to the wet conditions.
