Golf at La Torre Golf Resort
The resort has an 18 hole Jack Nicklaus trail course, clubhouse, driving range, putting green, practise bunker, shop etc
The La Torre Golf Resort was the first Polaris World golf resort to be built featuring a Nicklaus Design 18-hole golf course, and forms part of the challenging and prestigious Nicklaus trail courses offered on six Polaris developments. These are now managed and run by the IRM Group, and present a range of different challenges for golf enthusiasts.
The golf course on La Torre Golf Resort is Par 68 and is built to a “Florida-style” design, and is set between and around the residential parts of the development. Plenty of bunkers present a challenge to all levels of player, and the development’s three large man-made lakes also come into play on seven of the eighteen holes.
Measuring only 5406 metres (5912 yards) it is relatively short and par for the course is just 68, but the par-3s are crucial if you hope to compile a good score. Perhaps the most spectacular of these is the 9th, which requires a long iron or lofted wood over the lake onto a tricky green. Those of a nervous disposition will be uncomfortably aware that those in the clubhouse could be watching!
Tee-off times can be reserved by calling 0034 968 032 240.
Course fees & lessons
Handicap Certificates are no longer required to play the golf course.
- Course fees year round: Monday–Sunday 80 euros
- Twilight Golf: Monday–Sunday 50 euros
- Golf buggy rental: Monday–Sunday 45 euros
Other golf facilities available at La Torre include the attractive clubhouse and bar, the driving range, a mini putting green, a pitching practice area and even a practice bunker. A pro shop, golf school and locker and changing facilities all meet Polaris’ high standards in terms of providing a complete golf offer.
