Welcome ToCARTAGENA
The urban artist Kraser (real name José Jorge Nicolás Salas, born in Cartagena in 1977) has created a stunning new piece of mural artwork in Calle Gisbert in the city centre of Cartagena, encompassing the tunnel near the seafront, opposite the Arqua museum and close to the entrance to the Civil War Air Raid Shelter museum (click here for map).
The paintings cover a total area of around 800 square metres and are collectively titled “Inflexion Acuática”, showing a variety of marine life which is bound to fascinate and delight passers-by for years to come.
Kraser’s work has won him acclaim all over the world, showing clear influences of the classical, surrealist and lowbrow styles.
