Ballet, classical and Christmas music and children’s entertainment over Christmas in Mazarrón and Puerto de Mazarrón
As part of the Christmas, New Year and Three Kings celebrations in 2022-23 in the municipality of Mazarrón a varied offer of cultural events have been programmed, including the following:
Monday December 26
19.45: The Trío Apiacere perform “Los Sonidos de la Navidad”, lyrical music for Christmas, at the church of San José in Puerto de Mazarrón, featuring Amber Kay (Soprano) and Jesús Hernández (Tenor).
Tuesday December 27
12.30: Los Muñecos de la Tele, a children’s show in the municipal marquee next to the La Aceña sports pavilion.
19.00: Acustic Divas in the municipal marquee next to the La Aceña sports pavilion, featuring vocalist Marta Saorín, Silvia Campillo on piano and Ana Macías on double bass and saxophone.
Wednesday December 28
12.30: La Varita Perdida, a children’s show in the municipal marquee next to the La Aceña sports pavilion.
19.00: Zambomba Navideña in the municipal marquee next to the La Aceña sports pavilion.
Thursday December 29
12.30: Magician Lumaky at the church of San José in Puerto de Mazarrón.
19.00: Qvoce, a vocal fusion group in the municipal marquee next to the La Aceña sports pavilion.
Friday December 30
12.30: Sonrilandia, a children’s show at the church of San José in Puerto de Mazarrón.
19.00: The Red Velvets Christmas Show in the municipal marquee next to the La Aceña sports pavilion.
20.30: Un Juguete, una Ilusión, Latin dance spectacular to raise funds for the Cáritas Mazarrón charity.
Sunday January 8
19.00: The Ballet de Catalunya perform The Nutcracker at the La Aceña sports pavilion.
Exhibitions
Until January 15, "Mazarrón 1900" by Mariano C. Guillén Riquelme in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento (outside the Casas Consistoriales).
Until January 7: Prize winning entries in the "Memorial Domingo Valdivieso” open-air painting competition in the Casas Consistoriales. Open Monday to Saturday mornings 10.00 to 14.00, Thursday and Friday afternoons 17.00 to 20.00 (closed December 26 and 31, January 2 and 6).
Until January 7: "14 pintores para un siglo", paintings by the well-known Murcian artists Garay, Pedro Flores, Almela Costa, Juan Bonafé, Ramón Gaya, Gómez Cano, Sofía Morales, Vicente Viudes, Mariano Ballester, Molina Sánchez, Muñoz Barberán, Hernández carpe, Medina Bardón and Aurelio. Venue Universidad Popular, open weekdays 19.00 to 21.00.
The Ruta del Belén, a route featuring various nativity scenes in the municipality, runs from December 22 to January 6.
