<span style='color:#780948'>ARCHIVED</span> - Another minor earthquake on the Costa Blanca

There was an earthquake this Thursday, September 22, in the town of Guardamar del Segura in Alicante.

According to Spain’s National Geographic Institute, the quake occurred at 8.18am at a depth of 7 kilometres and registered a magnitude of 2.6 on the Richter scale.

Sources from the 112 Emergency services have assured that, for the moment, “no calls have been received and no related services have been attended” with the earthquake.

Just a month ago, an earthquake measuring 1.8 on the Richter scale hit Teulada in the Marina Alta, the fifth to hit the area so far this year.
