Andalusia weekend weather forecast June 14-16
There could still be pockets of rain this weekend, but it will mostly be dry and sunny with rising temperatures
After a week in which heavy rains and even hailstorms caused flooding and damage in parts of Andalucía, mainly the inland eastern areas of Jaén, Granada and Almería, this weekend is much brighter and drier all told.
For this Friday June 14, the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts “fairly cloudy skies with intervals of medium and high clouds and low clouds on the western Mediterranean coast,” and also “scattered and occasional showers” in the eastern sierras again. Parts of the Costa del Sol and Cádiz could have a foggy, misty day with reduced visibility.

The forecast for Saturday 15 is much the same, but with the probability of “showers and occasional thunderstorms” upgraded to “likely” in the eastern mountains in the afternoon. The wind will be blowing from the west, becoming “moderate” on the coast in the afternoon.

Same again on Sunday 16, with a couple of light showers possible in the eastern sierras again but mostly clear and sunny skies for everyone and mostly gentle or moderate winds on the coast.
Temperatures are rising steadily over the weekend and into next week, nowhere near stiflingly hot levels but mostly around the high 20s and just slightly over 30ºC.
