Andalucía weekend weather forecast April 17 to 20: Warmer days with scattered showers and breezy spells
Temperatures on the rise with some rain and gusty winds in the mix
After a blustery start to the week, things look set to calm down a little across Andalucía, though we’re not quite in the clear just yet. Expect a bit of everything over the next few days, with sunnier spells, passing showers and a noticeable lift in temperatures, especially away from the coast.Thursday April 17
Andalucía weather forecast, Thursday April 17Thursday will start off quite grey, particularly over the Atlantic side and in the eastern mountain ranges. There’s a chance of light, scattered rain in places like Huelva and Granada during the morning, but things should brighten up by the afternoon with more high cloud and some sunshine breaking through. It will feel warmer across the board, with some inland areas like Cordoba and Jaen seeing a decent jump in temperatures. Winds will be light from the west, picking up a little along the Mediterranean coast and higher ground in the east.
Friday April 18
Andalucía weather forecast, Friday April 18We can expect a mix of sunshine and patchy cloud. The northwest, including Seville and Cordoba, could see some light to moderate showers later in the day. Temperatures will hold steady near the coast but will creep up a bit elsewhere. Winds will be fairly gentle, turning more south-westerly in the afternoon.
Saturday April 19
Andalucía weather forecast, Saturday April 19Things look a little more unsettled. Cloud will spread across the region and bring light to moderate rain from west to east as the day goes on. The Mediterranean coast, including Malaga, might dodge the worst of it. Daytime temperatures will dip, especially inland, and westerly winds will strengthen, bringing occasional gusts along the coast and in hillier spots.
Sunday April 20
Andalucía weather forecast, Sunday April 20The day starts off cloudy with a good chance of showers here and there. As we move into the afternoon though, clearer spells should develop, particularly around Cadiz, Almeria and the Costa Tropical. It will be cooler overnight but daytime temperatures should hold steady or even edge up slightly in the west. Winds will stay mostly light from the west but could strengthen around the Strait and along eastern coastal areas.
A bit of everything this weekend in Andalucía. Expect some brighter skies and warmer days but don’t put the umbrella away just yet, as patchy rain and breezy spells will still make an appearance.
