After a burst of summer heat earlier in the month, Andalucía is moving into a more mixed pattern of weather this week. Across the region there will be a blend of sunshine and cloud, with some areas feeling fresher and even the chance of a passing shower. Temperatures are gradually dipping in places, although the inland cities will still see some warmth, while coastal towns enjoy slightly milder days with a breeze.

 

 

Skies start off mostly clear with just patchy cloud. By the afternoon, the eastern areas will turn cloudier, although any rain there looks very unlikely. Temperatures ease back a touch, but Granada and Córdoba will still top out around 30 degrees. Winds will be light from the north inland, while the Costa seaboard sees a moderate westerly through the morning before easing.

 

 

Clearer spells are expected for much of the Atlantic side, while Mediterranean areas see thicker cloud cover. Over in Almería, there is a chance of a brief shower or even a thundery downpour early in the day, though most places will stay dry. Temperatures climb again in areas such as Huelva, yet settle in the mid-20s along the coast from Cádiz to Málaga. Winds remain light and variable, shifting easterly, picking up stronger along the Mediterranean coast and through the Strait by evening.

 

 

Mid and high cloud will spread across the Atlantic side, although sunshine will still break through at times. On the Mediterranean side, a weak shower cannot be ruled out. Temperatures remain quite stable, hovering between 25 and 30 degrees across most of Andalucía, including Seville and Jaén. Winds will freshen from the east along coastal stretches, while inland areas feel only a light breeze.

 

 

That same pattern holds, with widespread cloud mixing with patches of blue sky. Again, the Mediterranean coast may see the odd sprinkle, though most of the region remains dry. Temperatures rise ever so slightly compared to midweek, keeping conditions comfortable across towns like Tarifa and inland Córdoba. Winds continue from the east, moderate along the Mediterranean coastline and in the Strait, lighter in the interior.

 

To sum up, Andalucía is set for a pleasantly varied week of weather with sunshine, spells of cloud, gentle breezes and only a very small risk of rain here and there. Autumn is edging closer, but plenty of warmth is still in store.
