Andalucía weekend weather forecast July 2-5: Intense heat and strong winds continue
Very hot inland with gusty easterlies and plenty of sunshine across the region
The heat that returned earlier in the week shows no sign of easing as we move into the weekend across Andalucía, with inland areas once again seeing very high temperatures. At the same time, strong easterly winds continue to make their presence felt, especially around the Strait and parts of the coastline.Thursday July 2
Andalucía temperatures, Thursday July 2Another very hot day, particularly across the Guadalquivir Valley. Córdoba peaks at around 42°C, with heat warnings in place for Seville, Jaén and Huelva as temperatures climb well into the high thirties. Skies are partly cloudy with high cloud drifting through, and some cloud building over inland areas later on. Winds are light for many, but strengthen notably near Cádiz and Tarifa, where coastal wind warnings are in force and gusts can become very strong.
Friday July 3
Andalucía temperatures, Friday July 3Little real change, with heat continuing to grip inland areas and warnings remaining in place for Córdoba, Seville, Jaen and Huelva. Cádiz also stays under warning for both heat and strong winds, though it will feel cooler here than inland. Skies are mostly clear or lightly clouded. Along the Mediterranean, including Málaga and Almería, easterly winds pick up with some strong gusts, while the Strait remains particularly blustery.
Saturday July 4
Andalucía temperatures, Saturday July 4A largely settled and sunny day, with just a little cloud developing over northern inland areas later on. Temperatures hold steady at high levels, though without much further rise. Light winds inland contrast with stronger easterlies near the coast. Around Seville, hot conditions persist, while inland areas near Granada also remain very warm through the afternoon.
Sunday July 5
Andalucía temperatures, Sunday July 5Cloud becomes a little more noticeable, especially over inland areas where there is a small chance of a few scattered showers developing later in the day. Even so, sunshine will still dominate for long spells. Temperatures change very little, remaining high across the region. Easterly winds continue, strongest near Cadiz and the Strait, with gusty conditions lingering into the evening.
It stays hot and breezy across much of Andalucía, with only slight hints of change as a little more cloud drifts through by Sunday.
Min and max temperatures in Andalucía this weekend

- Friday July 3: Min 22ºC; Max 40ºC
- Saturday July 4: Min 21ºC; Max 41ºC
